What is NEMA?
NEMA is an association of more than 1,500 museum professionals and supporters who work together to strengthen and improve the museum field. NEMA offers practical, thought-provoking and affordable educational programs and services, delivered by a knowledgeable group of members and association staff. 

Since 1919, NEMA has been the only organization in New England serving museums of all sizes and disciplines. As one of the six regional museum associations in the US, NEMA gives the New England museum community national visibility and access to field-wide initiatives. 

How do I get listed?
Exhibition listings are a benefit of Institutional Membership. If you are unsure if your museum is an Institutional Member contact the NEMA office, 781-641-0013. For information on becoming an Institutional Member visit www.nemanet.org/membership.

If you are an Institutional Member there are several way in which you can list your exhibitions.

• Submit listings through NEMA’s Current Exhibitions Form
• Email listings to nemaexhibitlist (at) tiac.net or add this email address to your museum’s e-newsletter, membership or PR list
• Mail announcements to the NEMA office: NEMA Current Exhibitions, 22 Mill Street, Suite 409, Arlington, MA 02476
• Fax a listing of exhibitions to 781-641-0053

How do I update my listing?
Simply contact the NEMA office either by filling out the Current Exhibitions Form, emailing nemaexhibitlist (at) tiac.net or mailing or faxing an updated listing to the office.

Why isn’t X museum listed?
NEMA is a membership organization and listings are a benefit of the Institutional level of membership. Only Institutional Members of NEMA may be listed.

How can I get a list with mailing addresses and contact information?
NEMA makes its mailing list available to Institutional and Corporate Members, as well as to selected nonprofit organizations (primarily to promote educational opportunities for museum staff). All uses must be approved by NEMA staff. Please call the NEMA office at 781-641-0013 for more details.
