NEMA News and NEMA eNews Advertising

The New England Museum Association is the only organization serving all museums in the region, and the best way to reach potential customers in the six New England states. NEMA News is sent to more than 2,300 people in museums, historical societies, schools, libraries and corporations. This quarterly publication is filled with feature stories, grant information, professional development opportunities and exhibition listings.

Advertising Specifications:
All advertisements should be submitted as .tif or .pdf files, formatted for a PC. It is recommended that image resolution be 300 dpi. The software program used to produce NEMA News is InDesign CS4. Electronic files may be e-mailed, or sent on a cd to the NEMA office. Any necessary printer’s charges will be billed to the advertiser. Payment must accompany the insertion order and tear sheets will be sent after publication.

NEMA eNews Advertising
NEMA eNews is a quarterly e-update sent in between mailings of NEMA News. eNews is designed to give members timely updates from the NEMA office regarding events affecting the field, the Professional Affinity Group workshops, the annual conference, grant deadlines and much more. eNews is sent to all members of NEMA which includes individuals, institutions, independent museum professionals and for-profit organizations.

The February 2009 NEMA eNews was sent to 1233 members with a +58% open rate.

Advertising Specifications:

  Ads must be submitted as .jpg or .gif format with a resolution of 72 pixels.
  All ad content and placement is subject to the editor's discretion.

  Ads will link to the advertiser's website. The ad will also be featured on the   web version of eNews. Articles in eNews are linked to the website version.

Advertising Rate
This opportunity is available to current Corporate and Institutional Members and non-profits. Limit of 3 ads per issue. Due to space limitations ads will only be run in two consecutive issues of NEMA eNews based upon space availability.
$75 per ad.
