Discussion Lists
NEMA has created four new Internet discussion lists: NEMA Collections; NEMA Interpretation and Public Programs; NEMA Administration and Facilities; and NEMA IMP (Independent Museum Professional) Issues. This is a NEMA membership benefit, and there is no limit to the number of discussion groups you may join.

Museum Policy Loan Service
Institutional members have access to our Museum Policy Loan Service. These sample policies come from a wide range of museums, including: museum by-laws, codes of ethics, collection policies, disaster action plans, loan agreement forms & policies, mission statements, organizational charts, performance evaluation forms, personnel policies, preservation plans, and strategic plans. Institutional Members are encouraged to submit policies for this valuable resource.

RFP Distribution Service
Does your museum or organization have a Request for Proposals to circulate among exhibit designers, strategic planners or other museum consultants? Now there's an effective way for you to reach NEMA members who provide these and other services.

Simply call NEMA at 781-641-0013 or use our contact form. You do not need to be a member of NEMA to submit a RFP to be distributed. We will distribute the information on our listserv, which has been established for NEMA's Independent Museum Professional and Corporate Members.

Publications Competition
Each spring NEMA holds a Publications Competition for member museums. The winning publications are announced in the summer issue of NEMA News, and displayed at our annual conference.

Leaders in Innovation Award
The NEMA Leaders in Innovation Award (LIA) recognizes New England museum programs and initiatives that advance the museum field in new and creative ways.
