February Lunch with NEMA

WHEN:  Wednesday, February 22, 2017, Noon - 1 pm

WHAT: Creating a Major Gift Program in a Small Shop
WHO: Laura Ewing-Mahoney, Principal, Sage Advancement Group
FORMAT: Web Conference

Many small and mid-size nonprofits do not have a major gifts program and rely instead on grants, events and direct mail to raise funds.  But consider this: 75% of philanthropic dollars in the US are given by individuals - mostly from wealthy donors.  If you do not have an effective major gifts program, you are ignoring a significant source of support for your organization.

Any nonprofit, no matter how small, can create a simple major gifts program that can grow over time.  Laura will provide some simple steps to help your organization get started.

Laura Ewing-Mahoney has been a mission-driven leader in fundraising and search for over twenty years and is passionate about helping organizations thrive. She is highly adept at assessing an organization’s landscape and providing customized solutions for maximum impact.

Over the course of her career, Laura has worked with donors all across the country, including her native New England, and has advanced organizations focused on higher and secondary education, museums, the arts, disease research, public policy, women’s issues, the environment, community development, youth, and social services.
