Shirley-Eustis House

33 Shirley Street, Boston, MA 02119
(617) 442-2275

Built in 1747 as a summer home for Governor William Shirley, the mansion was surrounded by terraced gardens with a small brook and extensive apple orchards. In 1819 Massachusetts Governor William Eustis and his wife Caroline purchased the mansion. The grounds are open during the day, and visiting hours for the Mansion and Carriage House run June thru labor Day. Visitors are free to make an appointment for a tour outside of those times.
