The MDE is one of the more popular benefits of NEMA membership. NEMA provides a platform for museums to share their policies with fellow organizations to help them create or update their own documents, including social media policies, investment policies, collection management policies, and more. Since the program’s inception, hundreds of museums have participated by loaning and borrowing policies, helping our museum community grow stronger together (thank you to all who have contributed in the past!)

We would appreciate it if you would share some of your institution’s up-to-date documents with our community. The MDE feature is available exclusively to members through our website, but is in need of updating. Your willingness to participate will ensure this valuable resource is available to our members once again. Any electronic format is accepted (Word, PDF, etc.). 

A non-exhaustive list of documents we are looking for and have received in the past can be found here. If your organization has a document or policy not listed that you would like to share, we encourage you to do so. A consent form can be found here.
